What to settle before a visa file starts
- Visa budget. ₹13,990 per person is the India Standard visa price, not a package. Standard does not include Catering BRN or Hotel BRN. Premium is ₹13,990 + (₹290 × applicable days × number of persons). The ₹290 per person per day includes Catering BRN and Hotel BRN and does not include hotel accommodation or meals. Applicable days are confirmed from the booking before payment.
- Dates. Compare the month you want with the published calendar on the season page. This page does not say a system is open today, and the processing-time page does not give a number of days.
- Copies. This office asks for a passport copy, a photograph, return-flight details, the number of travellers, and the travel month. The same list is on the requirements page. It does not set a passport-validity period, a photo size, or a vaccination rule.
- Hotel. A booking you already have can be sent for review. That review is optional. Hotel BRN approval is not included and is not guaranteed. What the words mean is on the BRN page. Makkah stay notes, which are not a visa rule, are on the Makkah zones page.

What should I decide before I open a visa file?

Does planning require a hotel BRN before the visa?
No. The older description said to check hotel BRN readiness. That line is not used as a gate. An existing hotel booking can be sent for review. Hotel BRN approval is not guaranteed, and no Hotel BRN fee is published. A booking-site confirmation is not the same as the hotel reference used in a file.
Where do I check whether the dates fit the season?
Use the season page for the published 1448 AH calendar. This checklist does not say whether a Saudi system is open today, and it does not give a processing time.
