Saudi Tourist Visa for Umrah: The 2025 Guide for US, UK & Schengen Visa Holders

This page is for people asking whether a used US, UK, or Schengen visa opens a Saudi tourist e-visa or visa on arrival that can be used for Umrah. UmrahVisa.in does not decide eligibility, does not issue that visa, and does not control visa on arrival. Saudi authorities do.

The two routes the older guide described

The guide, whose heading said 2025 while this URL says 2026, described two possibilities for someone it called eligible: a tourist e-visa applied for before travel, and visa on arrival at a Saudi airport. It said both were discussed for Umrah outside Hajj, not for Hajj. This page repeats that description. It does not confirm that either route is open to you.

  • The guide expected an Indian passport and a US, UK, or Schengen visa or residence card that had already been used, often shown by an entry stamp.
  • It treated a return or onward ticket and a hotel booking as things the traveller arranges. It did not say this agency books them on the tourist route.
  • It warned that an airline counter can refuse boarding if staff are unsure about visa on arrival, and it called a pre-issued e-visa the safer of the two for boarding. That is a practical warning from the guide, not a rule re-checked with airlines.

What a tourist visa does not do for you

The guide separated entry permission from the Umrah arrangements. On a do-it-yourself tourist entry, the traveller still has to:

  • Use Nusuk for whatever permit the trip requires. This site does not create that account.
  • Hold a hotel booking that matches the dates. A weak booking was the guide's warning, not a new hotel rule.
  • Read the insurance that comes with the tourist visa. The guide said it can be basic. The mandatory insurance in this agency's Standard Umrah price is a different product, explained on the price page.
  • Check season limits. A tourist visa does not replace the 1448 AH calendar or the Hajj-season note on the apply page.

When people use the managed file instead

The Standard file from India is private assistance from Omni Trips and Hospitality Services. It starts on the apply page or from the India page. It is not a tourist e-visa and not visa on arrival. The older page suggested that route for families, first-time travellers, and anyone who did not want to manage the portals alone. That is a preference, not an eligibility ruling. If the group includes elderly parents, children, or a first-time traveller, the managed India file is the route this desk handles. That choice is not a statement that you qualify for a tourist visa.

No tourist-visa fee is stated on this page. WhatsApp at +91 98450 57407 can take the travel month and whether you hold one of those visas. It cannot tell you that you qualify.

Questions

If I have a used US, UK, or Schengen visa, do I qualify?

This page does not decide that. The older guide said an Indian passport holder with a visa or residence card from the US, the UK, or a Schengen state, already used at least once, might look at a Saudi tourist e-visa or visa on arrival. That is the guide's account. It is not a check this website can run.

What is the difference between an e-visa and visa on arrival?

The guide described an e-visa as something applied for before travel, and visa on arrival as a decision at a Saudi airport. It also warned that an airline desk in India can refuse boarding if staff are unsure. UmrahVisa.in does not issue either visa and does not control that desk.

Can a tourist visa be used for Umrah and for Hajj?

The guide said a tourist visa was discussed for Umrah outside Hajj, and not for Hajj. This page does not confirm that current permission. The one-year Umrah visa's Hajj-season limit is a different notice, on the apply page. Season dates are on the calendar.

What does the managed Umrah file cost, if I do not use the tourist route?

The Standard assistance file is ₹13,990 per person, on the price page. That price is not a tourist-visa fee. No tourist-visa fee is stated here. The older page named a figure in riyals. That figure is not confirmed.

What does a DIY tourist entry still leave to the traveller?

The guide said the visa is only entry permission. The traveller still deals with Nusuk for any permit the trip needs, with the hotel booking, and with the dates. Those are the traveller's steps on that route. They are not a service this page performs.
